Today is FRIDAY THE 13th!!! Today at Beach Fitness we are celebrating
this day with fitness. We are calling it FREAKY FRIDAY and are having
our clients draw out of a bag for FitTricks. FitTricks are something
that we made up during this past Halloween give a Trick-or-Treats to
our clients. They draw out of the bag and either get a TREAT or a
TRICK. The TRICK was a something related to fitness like a particular
exercise. The TREAT was a gift certificate to one of our favorite
places on Main Street. It is the day before Valentines Day and people
are gearing up for their loved ones. So dig deep and if you want to
think FREAKY FRIDAY, join us!

Whether it is eat less but eat more often, don't eat this or don't eat
that...or my favorite, everything is OK as long as it is in moderation,

us or bad for us. It is up to us to determine how much of the good
things or the bad things we ingest. Most health and nutritional
information we get these days come from TV, news articles, internet,
friends or family, and health specialists like doctors or Beach Fitness
Trainers. What is great about this is that we have a wide resource in
which to get information, but what is right? What is most important is
understanding how you interact with foods and how foods interact with
you. Listen to your body, it will tell you if you are eating or
drinking something that it does not like. But lets start simple and
learn about one of the most sensitive topics of food and our bodies,
FAT!

Some methods for figuring the target rate take individual differences into consideration. Here is one of them:
