Barb Bartee

CO-FOUNDER | COACH

Barb Bartee is the co-owner and heart behind Beach Fitness. With over 20 years in the health and wellness industry, Barb is far more than just a trainer—she is a dedicated advocate for longevity, vitality, and bio-individual health.

Barb’s journey in fitness began with a BS in Kinesiology & Exercise Science from CSULB, followed by a Master’s Degree in Sport Management from USF. Her certifications range from CrossFit Level 1 and 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training to specialized work in PilatesKettlebells, and Massage Therapy (myofascial release and deep tissue).

Focusing on the bridge between physical training and internal health, Barb is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) and a Holistic Health Coach (IIN-HHC). Through her signature BOLD (Bio-Individual Optimal Lifestyle Design) nutrition program, she helps clients move beyond "standard" diets to find custom nutrition, sleep, and hydration patterns that maximize their unique energy and performance.

Barb is known for her ability to motivate clients and staff alike to live happier, healthier, and more balanced lives. Her passions include peptides and plants! Barb is an avid advocate for self-improvement, and enjoys a good bike ride– often capped off with a well-deserved happy hour!

Bryce Turner

CO-FOUNDER | COACH

Bryce is a highly credentialed instructor and the co-founder of Beach Fitness, bringing over two decades of professional experience to his clients. With a B.A. in Physical Anthropology from UC Santa Cruz and standing as a European/Canadian D.O. candidate for 2026, his expertise is deeply rooted in physical therapy and exercise science. As one of the highest-level ELDOA (Level 1-4) and SOMA Training Instructors in the US, Bryce utilizes a specialized, osteopathic approach to improve function, conditioning, and performance for everyone from youth athletes to seasoned professionals.

Training Style: Osteopathic Fitness, Rehabilitation, Strength & Conditioning  Philosophy: Train to achieve balance and longevity

Since starting his fitness career in 2004, he has built a world-class facility and an award-winning team dedicated to delivering real results. For Bryce, the ultimate reward is seeing clients not only achieve strength and rehabilitation but also develop sustainable habits for lifelong health.

Continuously exploring new philosophies—from CHEK and DNS to CrossFit and FRC—Bryce knows that elite training requires constant evolution. His approach merges advanced rehabilitation techniques with traditional strength programming. His overarching advice for anyone looking to improve their physical well-being:
